Max Payne 3 tendrá versión para Android Papi Max viene a darnos la dosis de tiempo bala y cine noir

Aún recuerdo cuando puse mis zarpas sobre la primera entrega del atormentado policía de Nueva York. Estábamos aún empalmados por la época post The Matrix y el tiempo bala era lo puto mejor; hasta en los anuncios de mantequilla se veía. Max Payne tomó ventaja de ello y los finlandeses de Remedy se sacaron un juegazo de tomo y lomo. Su segunda parte no tuvo la fuerza de impacto de la primera, pero aún así fue un juego muy disfrutable, además de ser el primero que ví utilizar el motor Havok, que quería decir físicas increíbles donde los enemigos caían fulminados como muñecos de trapo. Si bien las primeras capturas de Max Payne 3 no transmitían buenas vibraciones (¿Max con un look a lo John MacClaine matando pandilleros brasileños con camisetas de equipos de fútbol?), posteriores imágenes calmaron las aguas. Ahora, las sensaciones son inmejorables tras saber que Android recibirá su ración de plomo y tiempo bala.

El comunicado viene de parte de Rockstar, desarrolladora de la tercera entrega, en el que se anuncia que Max Payne 3 también tendrá una versión en gloriosa HD para los smartphones. Al igual que yo, en DroidGamers también se preguntaron si eso de smartphones HD incluía a Android, ya que cuando es exclusivamente para iOS son raudos en anunciarlo, puesto que queda muy fashion. La diferencia ha sido que en la página americana han ido un poco más alla y han tirado de contactos, consiguiendo un sí para Android por parte de uno de los miembros de Rockstar.

Una vez comenzado el estado de agitación, seguimos leyendo temblorosos el comunicado y vemos que van a esforzarse porque la experiencia sea tan gratificante como en sus versiones para los hermanos mayores, a lo que añaden palabracas como texturas en alta definición que toman ventaja de las últimas tecnologías móviles. Si mi Samsung Galaxy SII se calienta con el Cut the Rope, mucho me temo que con este voy a poder utilizar la cámara de fotos como lanzallamas.

Por ahora, no hay más información. La fecha de lanzamiento de Max Payne 3 para las sobremesa está estimada allá por marzo de 2012, así que todavía queda un poco de espera para volver a tirarnos en plancha, pistola en cada mano mientras todo a nuestro alrededor se queda más lento y nuestro cerebro más embotado por la ingesta de toneladas de analgésicos.
